If you are like me, between Thanksgiving celebrations and the leftovers, I am feeling a bit heavier than usual…on the scale and in my energy levels. So I decided to start a simple detox today, starting with this easy step to support clearing the sludge out.
Take 8-16oz of warm water, squeeze in half an organic lemon and sip it down. Best to rinse your mouth or brush your teeth after to keep the lemon from damaging the enamel of your teeth over time. There are so many benefits to this simple step, there is really no reason not to do it! You could also add a dash of cayenne and/or turmeric to spice things up and really boost the benefits too if you like.
